The makers of WFC seemed to at least have genuinely wanted to tell a good story, but we're limited by Hasbro in budget, which only allowed for limited acting and writing talent, as well as animation. I found many aspects of the second part even more offensive than the first. And it is a much better show than any of the Netflix WFC trilogy. I, personally, no longer feel annoyed by it. G2 pretty much ignored what happened in G1 but if you want to get the proper start, you have to read the 4-issue crossover with G.I. ReGeneration One kept more of the details of the original series, as well as picked up the story from the end of Marvel issue #80.
